Shipping in 10'ft containers

10-foot containers continue to be in high demand despite the high cost of freight and port expenses. The key to their popularity is that many shippers have a monthly turnover that does not exceed 10 tons/15 m3. That is why they prefer 10 foot wide shipping containers over 20-foot models, which are considered the smallest size used in international shipping.

Book a 10ft container

At SeaRates we announce the opportunity to ship 10-foot containers inside FCL. This means that a 20-foot container is conditionally divided into two virtual 10 foot shipping containers, and you deliver your cargo with only one fellow shipper, and divide all expenses in half.

Two shippers pay together 50/50.

For cargoes up to 15m3 or 10 tons we offer special tariffs that will save up to 2 times on the transportation complex in comparison with the common FCL rate.

How it works

Let's say you have a cargo that fits in a 10-foot storage container. Another shipper or forwarder who plans to ship their cargo along the same route contacts you. You agree on a shipping date. That's it! After that, the classic container shipping process takes place.

Transit time, compared to FCL, differs by only 2 days due to unstuffing. This cargo transportation option is popular among customers who want to save on logistics processes without losing quality.
